Hope The Mission
Founded in 2009, Hope the Mission has grown to become the largest rescue mission and one of the largest providers of interim housing for people experiencing homelessness in the United States. Serving thousands of individuals and families each day across Southern California, Hope the Mission provides shelter, meals, case management, mental health and recovery services, housing navigation, employment support, and pathways toward permanent housing. Guided by the belief that no one should be defined by their worst day, Hope the Mission goes beyond meeting immediate needs to help people move from homelessness to stability, from crisis to hope, and toward lasting transformation.
Steadfast LA
Steadfast LA is a civic nonprofit, founded by Rick Caruso and led by the private sector, that is dedicated to helping Los Angeles rebuild faster, stronger, and more resilient after disaster. By reducing red tape, bringing together top leaders and bold ideas, and mobilizing private-sector expertise, the organization cuts through bureaucracy and delivers effective solutions with urgency, accountability, and efficiency.
LA Play Strong
LA Strong Sports aggregates resources to provide grants that build, sustain, and grow top-tier sports and recreation facilities and programs in Los Angeles. Their efforts are rooted in a commitment to rebuild and strengthen vital recreation spaces after events like the Palisades and Eaton Fires so that the community emerges stronger than ever.
